What is dot.case?
dot.case lowercases every detected word and joins neighboring words with a period.
The converter runs entirely in your browser. Your input is not uploaded or stored, and Unicode characters remain Unicode rather than being transliterated.
How this conversion works
- Detect word boundaries from spaces, punctuation, common separators, and changes in casing.
- Lowercase each word and insert one dot between adjacent words.
- Preserve Unicode letters, digits, blank lines, and each original line.
